Hi! I'm a PhD student in Computational Biology at the University of Trento and COSBI. I'm curious by nature and passionate about learning — especially when it comes to understanding how biology works through the lens of math and code.
My research focuses on deriving ODE-based models of RNA therapies. As my main project, I am building a Physiologically-Based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model for mRNA-LNP encoded antibodies, to describe how RNA is trafficked in the body and how it gets metabolized to produce cutting-edge therapies. I'm also exploring Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) approaches for siRNAs in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.
